Have you Named your Egg? I want a Custom Name Plate for my BGE.

Does anyone know where i can order a custom name plate to put on my Egg?

I'm not sure where it would go, so I'm open to ideas about where and how the name plate could be a part of the BGE.

It could be brass or medal and apply to dome, perhaps a custom wood piece (like the handle), or maybe even the vent cover could be worked on.

If nobody's doing this as a side business, somebody should.

  • Kind of weird.
Love me some maple.  Go Canadians.
  • I would put it on the dual function top thingy. It doesn't get as hot and who cares if you mess it up.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

I would think a trophy shop could make you a plate no problem. You'd likely have to give it a bend to fit whatever you want to attach it to.

I named my old gas grill Grillomina, mostly as a joke to make my kids laugh and to make my wife roll her eyes. My 7 year-old named our new BGE "The Ultimate G", though I like Grilliam or Grill.I.Am better. Grillomina is going to be moving to a new home.
  • You guys need some medication.

    Simple ingredients, amazing results!

What would you attach it with? Is there an adhesive that can withstand the high temperatures?
