We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. We especially love these Beer Pork Tenderloin and Ground Beef Acorn Squash recipes! Fall is upon us, and it's a great time for getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

First Competition Results

Our first competition was a complete success in my mind.  It was fairly small, 15 teams were in it, but 11 out of the 15 were true travelling teams with VERY large and nice rigs.  The categories were Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Beans, and Cooks Choice.

Results:
Brisket: 1st Overall!
Ribs: 4th
Chicken: 5th
Beans: Not sure
Cooks Choice: Not sure

Overall 3rd place!!!!

It was a blast and considering we were competing against teams that had been doing it for YEARS, I'm proud of our 3rd overall finish.  Our 3 large BGE's pulled it off against them!
