Got 4 butts on the egg along with the bbq guru and igrill helping me out.  Put them on around 7:00p est and hope to pull them at 12p tomorrow.  Wish me luck!!

    Just a thought here, but I would put something non flamable under that Egg to protect that nice lookin deck. Just sayin.

    Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution...

    I think your deck will be fine as long as you keep the screen closed.  It's high enough up from the deck.

  • ok, 4 butts on the egg is definitely a lot harder than 1 or 2 butts but I got through it.  Had to pull one of them around 9a this morning and the rest were pulled at 1:00p.  So 14 hours for one and 18 hours for the others.  Had to deliver them to a birthday party that I catered so will not know the final results until later.  From what scraps I did taste, I did well.  Here is a pic of just 3 butts remaining.
