Well with all these Back to school, meet the teacher, and ice cream social nights I have not been able to egg except for Sunday! Did Spatch chickens for my parents that finally didnt complain that the food was taking forever! So since I have my first day home by myself after sending the kiddos off to school I'm thinking of doing wings for lunch tomorrow. Rubbed with DP Dizzy Dust, and Tsuami Spin, Raised direct I believe. Will post pics

    Sounds like a plan! It was very relaxing to do a cook this past weekend. Just me and my meat! ;)

    Try Raging River on wings...prolly my favorite DP rub right now. I also like finishing with bone sucking' sauce. Give it a whirl!
    Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

    I love the Bone sucking sauce ( BSS) I bought mine at the local cracker barrel and failed to notice that these were habanero BSS. Its hot, i mean HOT!!! I sometimes mix this with stubs and have a fantastic sauce.

  • So direct 375-400 ish for around 45 min then sauce and another 10 does that sound right?

    i only flip once about half way through the cook . i do mine raised direct about 350 dome

    Looks good, I want to do em on the mini but worried how many I can do at once. Thinking layer wings then another grid on them and wings again.
    Everything is really good on this thing, can't go wrong.

  • I only got the rubbed ones in the top tier of swng rack, they were jammed on there. 18 whole wings! I was afraid to put them on the lower grid after reading all the sooty chicken wings posts lately! The other 5 were put on after I pulled the first set.
