We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! Leg Quarters 8-20-12

Chicken leg quarters, veggies, and yellow rice.

The leg quarters were marinated in jerk for 24 hours.  The usual veggies and leftover yellow rice.

Chicken done raised grid direct.  Put on, top side down at 500 and pushed down to around 400.  Flipped three times and rearranged over 15 minutes.  Not exactly a highly controlled cook.

Note on the veggies, for those that have not done this, the char occurs on the top side, not the bottom.

Pretty good daily cook.
