For the second cook in a row I've had to run to surgery for a case and leave the wife at the helm!! She rocked out on our brisket watching the egg and maverick for 5 of the 11 hours it cooked. The first five hours at that. Tonight I'm driving home to a pork tenderloin she just pulled off at 160 and am very excited to see what she's got

350's for about an hour pulled at internal of 170ish. Looks awesome taste great. Rubbed with DD. proud of my co piliot!!

Thanks guys. I'm very proud of her! She kept texting me the temps on the brisket and made some adjustments and this loin had just been put on when I got called in so she had to zone the temp in. I called her when I got there and started to explain what to do and see said real smarty trust me I've got this!!

My wife won't even consider acting as the BBQ cook. She says thats my job... I think she just like taking turns cooking. Me outside, with her doing most of the cooking inside. Pass on our compliments to the pit master, she did a great job.... looks excellent.Since I retired I took over most of the cooking duties, always like to cook, but job just did leave enough time. Since then I do most of the cooking, inside and out, my wife was happy to do the cleanup. She had me believing she preferred my "Q" to meals cooked inside when I suddenly realized that with BBQ her job was easier, very little clean up that the dishwasher couldn't handle. Once again, I'm at least a step or two behind.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

My wife will, wait.. don't have one. My girlfriend can ... wait, not one of those either. My Stoker does an excellent job watching my BGE anytime I ask.
