Manorville new york BBQ contest! Inviting all area Eggheads!

If any fellow eggers live on long island, ny. We're having a pretty huge bbq contest this weekend! I'm sponsored by a local egg dealer, so i cook all the big meats and usually ribs on mine and theirs large eggs. I also cook on 2 weber 26.75 kettles and a large vertical barrel smoker(pro-q 20). If anyone wants to come hang out, get a feel for competition bbq, eat some food and share some drinks. I'd be happy to host.
It's at the maples in Manorville, fairly easy to get to right off the expressway, believe its exit 70. I'll be there all day saturday, all night saturday, and turning in chicken, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket at 12, 12:30, 1, and 1:30. After that I open all the food up to friends and family and sit and relax awaiting awards.

What time does it open to the public? there isnt any times listed on the website.

hey brian! we'll be there all weekend, from about 9am saturday till 6pm sunday, we don't leave. saturday we'll probably be cooking little stuff all day. We put the big meats in the cooker around 8pm saturday, and we start turning in the categorys at 12pm on sunday. i believe it's technically opened to the public from 10am-9pm saturday, and 10-6 on sunday, but anytime you'd like to come check it out is fine.

Thanks, I'm in Northern NJ. (don't hold it against me.
)Unfortunately Sunday will be bringing me up to Northern Westchester. Too bad I don't have plans out at "the end".If something falls through, I'll check out your team, and introduce myself.
