Stopped over to a local peach orchard to pick up some fresh peaches. I have never been to this particular orchard before....usually go to a pick your own place.
I asked the woman if they sell any of their tree trimmings. She says no, they usually just burn them! She said I am more than welcome to stop when they are pruning and take whatever I want. Then....she remembers a tree broke last week and they haven't had time to clean it up. She says I can have it if I haul it away.
Got some nice peach wood for free! And the peaches are so ripe and sweet!
I have a bit more to cut up, but this should last me for awhile.

Love the peach wood with butts. I did a bone in pork roast the other night with peach wood and it came out great.
