Design it 10 times and build it once!   Glad it took so long to complete.  We had a 9.79 inch rain in 12 hours and my patio location would have been flooded big time.  So I added another 12000 lbs of crushed granite to build it up.   By the way the 2 year old weber is unused.  But it is used for storage!

    I did the granite tiles in the patio floor,  I built the 16 foot long outdoor kitchen with 5 foot wing walls but called the experts to install the veneer stone.  Granite is a great surface for the counter tops.  I really like how the stone turned out.

    My cooker is a Kamado cooker from Academy in Houston.  The grill lid on the right is actually on top of a 3 cubic foot freezer. It is very hard to find a freezer - most people have fridges. I can store more stuff under the weber stainless steel lid on top of the freezer.  The temp goes down to -20F indoors, so   it should stay plenty cold outside.

    What beautiful job and setting, there is noting missing but there is one thing you might lose. The plumbers tape. Just Saying

    What is plumbers tape?   Where is it?   I put a 20 foot plastic pipe under the granite deck so I had a water hose, and electricity for the freezer.

    Gumbo, plumbers tape is the metal pice with holes in it thats wraped around the front of your cooker.  You might go to your local sheet metal shop and they can bend one out of 1/8 x 1 inch material and paint it, you would never see it. I have one, I would take a picture but I don't know how to post it.

    Oh,   I took off the plumbers tape...   It appeared as a do not sue me device since installer is lawyer aware.
