We made our first pizza last night and it was delicious, however, some spilled on the stone and burned into the stone. Would someone please tell me how to clean the stone. There were no instructions with it when we purchased it. Thank you!!!!

I use a wire grill brush to get some off, best way though is to throw it on the grate after a hot cook (steaks or something done direct) with the dirty side down, open the fire up and let it burn hot for a while. It will turn it back to white and anything left on it will brush right off. Sort of like doing a clean burn for the rest of the Egg.

I don't worry about it. Think of it as "seasoning" the stone

No big deal if the stone gets stained. But if it bothers you, you could leave it in during a hi temp burn, or run it through the cleaning cycle in your oven.

I've had the same thing happen. I just use an old knife and carefully scrape as much burned on residue off that I can. The black spot will remain, but does no harm. It adds character to your stone.
