Just puchased 5 differant spices from "Dizzy Pig" because of feedback from fellow EggHeads But what are some your Favorite premade mixes????

    Besides DP rubs, I like a few blends from Penzy's. Ozark blend is really good on chicken, and eggs too.

    simply marvelous sweet and spicy. Obie que sunshine. Kosmos chicken. Smokin' Guns hot. Obie que sweet. Never tried any of the dizzy pigs actually. But heard theyre all good.

    For salmon I've found NOTHING better than Dizzy Pig Raging River rub, put on over a thin coating of honey.

    For ribs, "Bone Suckin Sauce" rub is awesome, the regular, haven't tried the spicy.  

    Steaks, just plain salt and pepper and nothing more.

    that's a tough one.

    Simply Marvelous (Sweet Seduction, Apple, Cherry) are all good on chicken

    DP Raging River is great on Salmon

    Oakridge Santa Maria is nice on Steak.

    I also like DP Red-Eye Express or Cowlick on Steak

    context is important :)

    Dizzy Pig is always good. 

    Another brand we've really grown to like is Tom Douglass' Rub with Love.  His African Peri-Peri has become our "go to" rub for chicken!!!

    Also, did my best pulled pork yet by using John Henry's Raspberry Chipotle Rub.  I know, sounds weird, but it's a sweet vs spicy thing that adds another layer of flavor!!

    Colorado Spice Chang Mai Fish and Fowl - great on shrimp, scallops, any type of fish, only thing I use on walleye. Haven't tried it on salmon, that always get DP Raging River.
