A bad Egg weekend!

Not a great weekend for me and the Green Egg this weekend. Father in Law was in town and was getting ready to make some pizza. I go out to start my Egg and the tires on my cart had popped, I thought oh well and started the Egg to continue cooking. Then when I was inside making the pizzas I had my wife go out and put my plate setter in to get it warmed up. Well that was a mistake, because before she could put in the Egg she decided to drop it on the concrete patio! NOT GOOD! Note to self - "Do not let wife touch Green Egg ever again!!!"

On the bright side you can trim off the sharp stuff and have a great heat barrier for the adjustable rig. You may want to look at that instead of replacing it.

You can probably salvage the PS with JBWeld. But you are now positioned to take advantage of the unfortunate epsiode and get more toys (or another BGE) while there is a feeling of remorse :)

oh trust me if she knows whats good for her she will purchase me another plate setter! :)) or maybe an adjustable rig and plate setter!!! Thanks for the advice Little Steven.
