I noticed that Fruita recommends wood be stored in a cool, relatively damp environment.  Does wood really go bad that quickly?  I would think it would be years before it was rotten beyond usable.  I've never noticed any issues with just storing it in the bag it came in outdoors and exposed.  Anyone feel differently?

    it won't 'go bad'.
the only thing lost is moisture (water).  none of the sugars are going to disappear.

as nola said, it'll be fine
