BGE Lid won't open

Hey Guys,

I need a little help.  I was cooking Salmon on my egg Sunday. When I was finished I left all the vents open to burn down all my charcoal so I could give it a good cleaning the following day.  The next day I went out to my egg and the lid will not open.  I have pulled on it and everything.  It won't budge.  I did replace the gasket a month or so ago and used some adhesive, but I have cooked on the egg several times since with no problems.  Any suggestions?
