National BBQ Month sure was tasty! We hope you got to try just as many new BBQ recipes as we did and some old favorites as well. If not, you can find all our BBQ recipes here and try them out all summer long. One of our favorites was Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise and Ted Reader’s Rum Injected Sweet Potatoes. As the weather’s heating up, use your EGG for a cool treat-Ice Cream Sandwiches! Keep an eye out for some Father’s Day recipes from chefs & their dads, coming soon!

Hello all you eggheads!!  A newbie here as I bought my first BGE XL today and am so excited to start egging.  I'll be reading thoroughly this forum, learning and hopefully contributing where I can.  I look forward to forums with fellow eggheads.  The 'lighting of the XL egg" begins tomorrow am and I hope to go start strong - baby back and spareribs, then move to pork butts and steaks over the next day or so.  I plan a marathon egg initiation.

Welcome to the forum.  Are you coming from any sort of charcoal experience, gas, or just all new to bbq?  The Egg is an amazing tool, and there seems to be an infinite amount of wisdom on this forum.  Enjoy!

Welcome.  You're going to love the XL.  Are you going with a table or nest?  If you haven't bought a table yet, consider that you might have a second egg within a very short time.  Good luck and post pictures please.
