meed a recommendation for an "over the ear" headset - my grandson's recommendation was a 300.00 bose pair

maybe we could find something a bit cheaper

I got the Sennheiser set from Amazon to work out. Absolutely love them, no problems with sweat or coming out of ears.

I would highly recommend beats headphones I think there called diddy beats the sale them at best buy and have a variety depending on how much you wanna spend. I think you can even test them there also.

I got my wife a set of Sennheisers similar to those in the above link.....she loves them, and more importantly, she hasn't broken them in over two years!

Those Sennheisers are nice, but I'm not sure that they're considered "over the ear."

Sony makes a good set of over the ear headphones that are reasonably priced. Check Best Buy to give them a listen, then go order them online for much cheaper.
