I just mixed some brown sugar with Bad Byron's and coated 2 butts. Any problem with that?

Shouldn't be a problem...especially since butt rub is very salty. However, I heard straight up Butt on a butt is very good.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

It is good straight up on a butt. I do not see a problem adding sugar to it though either as the shaker says no sugar added. It will probably give you more caramelization and help with the bark. Dizzy Dust by Dizzy Pig, which is designed for pork has turbinado sugar added so I think you will be good. Be sure to update this thread and let us know what you think.
