Haven't seen many food pictures lately ... alot of talk about the new forum and other stuff. Lets go back to basics and post great food or egg action shots![p]
Here is a T-Rex I did early this year. I think the fire and ice is a nice touch. With the egg you can grill all year round!

Smoked Signals,
Nothin' like a little boxed mac&cheese to set of the meal.

Chef Wil,[p]Wow, that is impressive. I have a fourth of July rib fest coming up, and I have been trying to figure out the best way to do large quantities. Not any more. But how did you maintain airflow to keep the fire going? I looks to be mostly blocked off at the grill.

Chef Wil,[p]Ok, stop, you're blowing me away with these great pics. Are these all beer can chickens, or just propped up against each other? Direct 350?
  • Chef Wil,
I was wondering if I could get 5 chickens on my egg because I needed to cook 10 for a catering. This sure answers my question. Is the bottom door all the way open because the chickes will sure dampen the flow of air.[p]Did they burn on the bottom .. you look to be doing them direct.[p]Thanks,
    Doug

Smoked Signals,[p]Here's a shot of Kenny G's Hickory Smoke infused Chili cooked in a Dutch oven in a small BGE. That's a whole jalapeno floating in it. It rocks!

    Ironbaugh,
yep...just like it was on the grill.[p]It's a really nice change of pace that gives the meat a totally different flavor and texture.[p]Mike

Here's an old pizza setup I've started putting the 3rd leg right at the back to avoid burning in the hot spot - with much better results
