Pizza stone? i keep hearing about them but always miss out on the pics.

post yours up and tell how much use you got out of it  before it cracked.

what about using an unglazed quarry tile?  for 5 bucks that would wouldnt it?  LOL

    You can use firebricks that the base of pizza ovens are made out of. I imagine getting a bunch of those and laying them on top of the grill will work fine.. And they are probably about $2 each..?
    I think they're the same clay bricks that they use for the inside of fireplaces ..
