New Egg user/dealer
Hi everyone,
I just started selling among other things the BGE. I am having so much fun cooking on it everyday.
The boss is furious about the massive preparation messes on the work tables. I also destroyed one seal, maybe from using the platesetter upside down? And my wife is curious why I am never hungry when I get home from work!
My hobbies are cooking pizza and I also have cooked Chinese food for years, so I am looking close at how to get a wok on this egg. Currently we are using a large with a nest.
I sold a few eggs to wives for their husbands for fathers day. Boy are you guys lucky, I just got a card!!
Anyway, looking forward to learning from you guys.

As far as a wok. go the the Ceramic Grill store and order a spider. http://www.ceramicgrillstore.com/ click on the link on the side for large spider and it will explain things. I just ordered one for my XL today. I also ordered a wok from the Wok Shop http://wokshop.stores.yahoo.net/index.html I like the idea of a pow wok which has a handle rather than the wok sold by the ceramic grill store.Steve Van Wert, Ohio XL BGE

Phoenix, my wok sits down just barely above the felt line. I'm not sure that a handle would actually work with my large, and I'd be concerned that the handle would burn due to the heat. Is it a wood handle?

Yes I was rolling and preparing the pizza, (I make my own dough), and I made quite a mess of the counter we transact business at with the cornmeal, sauce, etc...
I was making a barbecue chicken pizza that day.

Howdy Doody and Mickey are the 2 wok pros around here. Several others do fine work on the wok as well. Keep your eyes peeled and you'll get some great info on wokking on the egg
