First Ribs: Slow Fire dry rub method
My husband and I are not big fans of most rib sauces and tend to order our ribs naked when we go out to eat.
I just finished my first rack of spare ribs using the dry rub recipe from Slow Fire. Total cooking time was about 3.5 hours (2 hours bone side down, 30 minutes meat side down, 1 hour wrapped in foil). I am very pleased with the results (as is my husband). I can think of a few modifications to try (season the night before, finish up with few minutes of direct heat) but this rack will definitely not go to waste.
suggestions for other dry rib recipes and/or processes are welcome.
