Are there any good alternatives to the BGE full cover for the XL? Eventually mine is going to be out of the elements but I want to protect it in the meantime. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

I have an XL in the metal nest. I also have the shelves attached to mine. I purchased a large, cheap gas grill cover that does the job fine. Most people would not notice anything out of the ordinary.
Hope that helps.
XL BGE -
I saw some on the Bay a few days ago "gently used" (probably from an eggfest) for $25. Not sure if they are still listed or not.

Also, I got a deal on the XL cover when I bought mine. The cover is nice and a small investment to keep a $$$$ egg in tip top shape IMO
