Need JJ's Leg of Lamb recipe....

We just got a leg of lamb on sale and are going to do it in the egg on Sunday or Monday. [p]Does anyone have the recipe JJ did at EGGfest99?[p]Thanks.[p]Fritz[p]BTW, we have a small pork butt on now that shold be pulled by halftime of the Bucs-Redskins game. Go Tampa Bay!

Fritz,
I removed all the fat, sliced pockets into the leg and inserted cloves of garlic. Then rubbed with rosemary and cooked at 350* using 15 min per pd as a guage until the meat hit 140* internal temp. The wood I used was cherry. Get some Polaner real mint jelly to go with it. A great side is boiled new potatos with some lemon juice in the water. When tender drain and melt in some butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Did you have the Scotch Eggs while at the Irish Rover? I glad to hear that about BBC, Oldenberg sell their mini brews bottled also. They are on Breckenridge across from Books-A-Million. I will let you know when Kathy signs in Louisville, maybe we can get together.
