OT: how to fix patio heater

Sorry OT but I figure many people have this..

I have the standing patio heater that uses propane and has a little cone on top to reflect the heat.

The problem is I couldn't get it started, the hiss is very weak and won't start.

I think maybe due to spider web or something? Do I disassemble everything and flush out the hose with water? I am not sure what to do..

ok, I don't have a heater like that, however, it could be that the regulator tripped. I used to get this on my gasser on very hot days, or sometimes when hooking up a new tank.

Disconnect the hose, wait at least 15 minutes, then re-hook up and try again.

make sure valve is turn all the way to open.

Do you get good flow when the Pilot light button is held in?

I have had the thermosensor go bad, Pilot light would not stay lit.

Not a very good flow, and when I try the ignitor I hear a weak poof and nothing happens.

I will try to reinstall the regulator, not sure if it is tripped, I have experienced that in other burners, I would think if it is tripped then it won't let any gas come out at all.

Mine had a oxygen sensor go bad and would not stay lit. It acted like a thermocouple but was not. Bypassed it with a piece of wire and was good to go.
