I think I'm having withdrawal... I've been in England for a few weeks and ready to be back and have some good food again!!! (especially missing sweet tea and ice!)

Anyone else have withdrawals? Haha

If you're in England, I feel your pain.

In the early '70s, my company (IBM) would send me out of state for several weeks at a time.  Tex-Mex was not popular outside of Texas at that time, so yes, I would get withdrawals from not having it.

That's one of the reasons I hate to travel.

My family and I are at my inlaws with a gasser. It is going to be a long Memorial Day weekend without the egg.

@brownbw, where in England are you?
@VI, were you in the U.K in the 70's?

Nothing worse than a plate of spotted **** (not being derogatory-its a real dish, google it). Those Englanders just don't know how to cook. Oh, and very sorry if I've offended any brits in the forum...just poking fun!

@jay75 - I'm in Pershore (near Evesham). Leaving soon though! Still going to miss Memorial day cooking though.

If only the people at big green egg could make an egg light enough to easily transport anywhere! And I mean a full size grill. I also will be traveling this holiday to family where I will not have a egg to cook on. I know, we are all spoiled.

This thread reminds me of the adage:

    Heaven is where:

    The police are British
    The mechanics are German
    The chefs are French
    The lovers are Italians
It's all put together by the Swiss

    Hell is where:
