Pork Shanks

Good Morning,

I have recently been to a couple of nice steakhouses.  Both times I haven't felt like a steak.  I have gotten Pork Shank.  It is now my favorite thing to eat.  I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to do a pork shank on the egg.  This is a lovely item.  If you ever see it on a menu I strongly encourage you to get it.

  • Those are usually braised in a restaurant. But no reason you couldn't work the egg in for some smoke or something. May be able to low and slow and pull them. I'm interested in what you find.

    Have done Osso buco on the egg in a dutch oven.  Same recipe as if done inside just a lot more fun.
