Adjusting the lower band

I've noticed that my lower band on my LBGE seems to be riding up.  In the front, it's just above the seal.  If I loosen it with the intention of pushing it back down, are the springs going to make that difficult to accomplish?

    Options
    have someone hold the dome open and its really easy to pop the springs off with pliers or even a screwdriver. you can do it your self but its easier with someone holding the dome open. takes 10 seconds
