Eggers in competitions.

What a blast it is to see all the new teams competing with eggs. Really exciting especially to see first time teams getting stage calls, and watching the number of teams using eggs growing exponentially.[p]If any of you folks want to see the eggs in action (or just to say hi), the Dizzy Pig teams (both Canada and USA) will be competing this weekend. Qfan and bbbrown's team competes in Dundee, Michigan Cabelas BBQ Cookoff, on Friday and Saturday, and Woo, Hatch and my team competes in Smokin' on the Chesapeake in Westminster, Maryland on Saturday and Sunday. It's at the Farm Museum on Center St. Westminster is northwest of Baltimore.[p]Hope to see some of yall there!

Nature Boy, Yeah, I was at the Blue Ridge cookoff in Tryon, NC for the NC state Q championship this past weekend and there was a fellow using an egg along with his large smoker. We were leaving and I never saw who it was, but there humpty sat, smokin away.

just remind the stump that "marking" boxes is a no-no . . . if i know him he'll be trying to sneak some of beulahs nose hair into the box (even though its green, its still not an allowable garnish). . ..[p]too bad its not a memphis in may type competition where they also judge your cooking site. . .the circus side show motif would be a true winner . ..[p]good luck to you guys, i know you'll do well. .. .

Funny you should mention hair. Stump wanted to do some frogs legs for the chefs choice and place a small tuft of hair you know where. He makes me nervous sometimes. We are going as Circus Q. We do not get together enough, it will be fun.
