Jameson when I'm flush, Ancent Age when I'm counting pennies. For beer I am pretty domestic; I like St. Pauli Girl. I actually don't drink much beer, I prefer white wine.
XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys -
HH, my great grandfather has been making weak pale water continuously since the Eisenhower administration. Not sure it's worth praising though.

(though, I still like it) ...
and a Post Script - the reason I like Fat Tire on the left coast is that it holds a place in my heart.
When making the cross-country road trip out here, a buddy went w/ me. We ended up getting snow-bound in a little one-horse town called Tucumcari, NM (their version of "snow-bound" was only about 2" of snow, but that was enough for the State to close the highway, & force everyone off @ the nearest exit).
So, we're stuck in Tucumcari, nothing to do, I think next closest town is 100+ miles in either direction...
So what would 2 young (at that time) bored guys do? We went to the local watering hole - that's what!!
We were a bit scared @ 1st cuz it had old fashioned "saloon" style doors that ya'd see in a Western movie... but we cautiously walked in & sat @ the bar & asked what was good on tap. Bartender said "a lotta folks seem to like Fat Tire" and we were like "what, Flat Tire?"
She poured 2 glasses, slid them over to us & said "here, try it - if ya don't like it, ya don't have to pay for it"...
Well, after about 10-11 Fat Tires a piece later, we decided we liked it :P ... ended up staying there till they closed...
ahhhhhh... Six Shooters Saloon on historic Route 66 in Tucumcari, NM - MEMORIES!!! 8-} :x
Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup... Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. - Bruce Lee -
Black Butte Porter from Deschutes in Bend OR. It's not the hardest to find
or the smallest batch but it always tastes great. -
i like yeugling, yungeling, whatever the heck it is too.

Have you tried Golden Monkey from Victory Brewers in PA? Almost identical flavor profile.

Victory Brewers makes a fantastic Pils. Pils is suddenly hard to come by. Not many make it. I'ts basically the basis for every american lager there is, but onlu a handful are making the full strength traditional (non-lite) version.
One of the first beers i made (though I didn't lager it). It's a good test of a brewer, in my mind, because there's nothing to hide behind
Sam Adams makes Noble Pils, which is also good.

normally - Guinness.
Lately - Innis and Gunn. http://www.innisandgunn.com/InnisGunn/home/born by accident.aspx
Aged in oak casks - rum and scotch casts... imparts a wonderful flavor.
Also - Oakanogan Springs. http://www.okspring.com/

When I lived in the northeast, victory prima pils and their hop devil were two of my go to beers.

Looks like I'm the only good old southern Georgia boy that is satisfied with an ice cold Bud Light!

>-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Favorite (OP question) and satisfied with are two different things... -
Oops my blunder. Yeah, Rogue is the Yellow snow, Stone is the Ruination IPA and then they have a weaker one just called Stone IPA. Perhaps I'd had too many before I typed that I love that Rogue sells mini kegs of the Yellow snow, if it's an all day cook out. Seems to taste better out of the mini keg, but that could be a placebo.Duvel

My favorite beer of all time was taken away from me. Pete's Wicked Ale was the cream of the crop, and simply disappeared. Sure, they (Gambrinus BASTARDS) put out a different Ruby Red **** ale that sucks. I WANT MY PETE'S BACK!!
The Dude: This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.Cumming, GA

To me, grilling/smoking and beer drinking are joined at the hip. Can't grill or smoke without a beer in hand.
Some favorites available to me locally:
Ballast Point Sculpin
Three Floyds Dreadnaught
Founders Porter
Non-locals that I have to have shipped in:
Surly Furious and Bitter Brewer
Russian River PtE, Blind Pig, Supplication
Going to San Francisco on Monday for work. Heading straight to Santa Rosa and spending the day at Russian River brewpub and gonna enjoy life for the day.

New Glarus? I have to find it with such great reviews.
I am a craft beer guy. I don't drink too many, but I like a beer with a lot of flavor. I have a glass of Shameless Dale in my hand right now from a local brewery called Dale Bros. Good stuff.

@dance: wow that brought back memories. Loved the wicked ale.Bx - > NJ ->TX!!!All to get cheaper brisket!
