New Egghead here. I have a Xl Bge that I am in Love with. Had it about 3 weeks and have it pretty well figured out, Already cooked many great meals. Went to cook some fish tonite and realized (duh) that my trusty fish basket wont lay flat on the grate because it sits below the felt. Whats the best way to raise it to the level of the felt? Are there any attachments that are better than others to accomplish this that would also allow me to add a 2nd or 3rd tier if I ever need it? Thanks

I like my adjustable rig. Works great to get it above the felt line and also adds cooking space.2 Large Eggs and no chickens. How's that work?

several different options:
- Adjustable rig
- woo ring (I think - someone who has one, please chime in)
- firebricks (some folks say ya can just use regular bricks - but I figure if they make bricks that are meant to be in fireplaces, why not use 'em)
HTH,
Rob
Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup... Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. - Bruce Lee -
I've been wondering about this, too. I can use the Folding grill extender for searing steaks because it's slightly smaller than the lg grid, and will fit down in the box right above the coals.

However, is a spider needed for using a wok on the Egg? I'd really like to try a wok on it, but I'm not exactly sure what all is necessary.

Yup, agree with the above about woo ring and adjustable rig. I got mine here: http://www.ceramicgrillstore.com/. Lots of options and he's a good guy
