plate setter with a quartered chicken?

I found a full quartered chicken for $2 at my grocery store. Couldn't pass it up. You think I should use the plate setter or cook direct? Thinking direct at 400 for 15-20, then flip for the same?

Ended up going direct, but with a grill extender. 400 for 17 minutes on one side, then 20 on the other. First time with poultry on the BGE, and it was the moistest (most moist?) chicken I've ever had. Got all three of those bad boys for a total of $2.38, so that's a nice cheap dinner. Next time I think I'll throw some smoking chips and maybe the plate setter, if only to throw some vegetables underneath.
