Crab Cakes with Chipotle Chiles and Corn

Move over Maryland, here comes Texas.  I unashamedly stole this recipe from The Homesick Texan.  It's crab cakes with chipotle, corn, cayenne, mayonnaise, cumin, ginger, crackers, etc.  Excellent !  Served with chile con queso on blue corn chips and Texas tartar sauce.

For dessert, sopapillas from Mike Schweitzer's (Lawn Ranger) recipe.

    Gary, you can't leave!!! I will be honest with you. You are one of the main reasons I have joined this forum. I always look to see threads you have responded on first. You have an interesting way of adding humor and knowledge in the same post, not to mention your pictures and videos are second to none. I am sure you have your reasons, but I hope you'll reconsider.

    I agree with Chubbs. Your knowledge and gift of insight is truly second to none. I think that you have a good sized following on this site and we all are better for your presence. Not trying to get all wet and weepy here but, as Chubbs mentioned, those of us who look for your threads really learn from your tutelage and enjoy the results we get from your insight. I know you may have your reasons but know that you will be missed if you do leave.

    Ok, for the younger crew in this forum, oh hell, you are just to young to explain it to. Sorry. I was never a fan of Clarabel. And many years later after that movie about the doll that came to life and killed, I lost all fondness for HD......  This new HD is going to be cool.....

    Mayor P.T. Bluster was involved in a scandal involving a female intern a couple of years ago and lost his bid for reelection.  He is now trying to unseat Mayor Anise Parker of Houston.  Thinks he has a chance.
