The screws that hold the hinges with the spring popped off right when opening the lid.
Glad it was before starting my stakes. Will be calling the factory!

Either the screws had the head too small or the Ring bigger holes!I will be asking for a complete ring with screws, i don't want to risk mytop falling off!FelipeMen, easier fed than understood!!

those're "clinch studs". i found them at my local small hardware store. the old kind (i.e. not a big-box store), with the long wall of drawers where you can still buy just a few screws at a time.

Same thing happened while I was installing shelf mates on my new baby yesterday - that story later tonight - not sure if it was a faulty cinch bolt or installer error; likely the latter / beer related?. Should the conical washer be inside or outside the band?? Dickson's Hardware/BBQ in 'Tee-O' is one of those good old stores. Search starts tomorrow.
