Has anyone topped their strip with blue cheese before? I've eaten a thousand steaks but never topped with blue cheese. All your white table cloth steak houses offer that option. I'm grilling a NY Strip tomorrow night and thought about throwing blue cheese on it. I wanted to get everyone's thoughts.
Thanks,

I think its Ruth Chris's that does the butter on the sizzlin steak. Although - if I was to see a picture -- I might reconsider the blue cheese -- Mrs Boatbum orders maytag shipped to the house - would be a hit with her.

Put walnuts in food processor first and chop then add the rest of the ingredients and process again. I put a slab of the butter on the steaks while they were domed resting.
