And how will you do them? I bought ribeyes at Publix tonight, and despite cooking almost exclusively on the BGEs for into our third month now, these will be our first steaks. We've done beef but not what I call a steak due to diet regimes. The big difference now is we split a ribeye instead of take one a piece.
I like to let it go to room temp, smear with olive oil and then rub with McComick's dry rub. Cook at about 450 and serve with grilled veggies.
XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys -
I do them at room temp. also, but at about 500 to 550 turn after 3 to 4 minutes, 3 times last time closing top and bottom vents comes out med-rare. I also cook by touch to tell when at correct doneness
or use instant read thermometer
