Glad to do any part.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

So help out some one who I mini illiterate. What's the tape for?
The tape and the felt under the tape act as an spacer/insulator to protect the base of the mini from cracking due to the heating of the ring. Several of the minis base separated (cause not totally determined?) and this is just insurance policy.Large, small and mini now Egging in Rowlett Tx
