Hey all. First time poster long time follower to the forum.
Got an egg for Christmas and have been laboring away on a table for it.
I've seen some amazing tables on this site and figured I'd throw mine into the fray.
Anywho, here it is. This was a really fun project.
Now it's time to add the bottle opener and hooks for grilling tools.

Thanks Chubbs. The top is made from a corian kitchen countertop I got off of craigslist. I needed something that had lots of counter space and would be perfect for prepping.The tile was a left over piece of ceramic I had lying around.Lucky to have a LG Egg My Blog: http://manvsgrill.blogspot.com/

Cool looking table. I'm also in the process of building mine-I'll post pictures when done-so I know how time consuming it can be. What did you use for wood...pine? I used red oak, which some people have said is very porous and not good for outdoor use. I'm using 2 coats of Spar Urethane-think I'll be OK. Also good score on the casters. They look like the ones I got at Rockler, only mine are red. My only thought is will the thin tile on lower shelf be thick enough? You're using the feet so you should be OK but I was just thinking out loud. Great job!

I did use pine. Heck of a lot cheaper than cypress. In the end I used a deck stain with some color in it.

Mine is made out of PT pine. My cocrete counter top is being made this week. I plan on staining it with Sikkens SRD stain. In my opinion, Sikkens is the best stain on the market, bar none. I am a teacher and a deck builder/handyman in the summer. Sikkens has held up better on the decks than any other product.Mark Annville, PA

Not sure about the weight. I'd guess 200 lbs at max. It will be 5 ft long x 32" and 2" thick.Mark Annville, PA

I use an atv cover for mine. Thirty bucks and has elastic making it easy to take on and off. Works great so farGeaux Tigers!!!
