Just thought I would join this site so I can meet other Egg people. I havent had my Egg very long but I have been a grilling and BBQin' fool for years. After burning out a metal grill a year I decided to go with a medium Egg. Ya know, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I dont think you can mess anything up! Here is the first thing I cooked in it. A whole chicken

It is tough to screw things up on a kamado. Overcook it by a bunch, and it's still tasty...

Not sure I agree with that statement, particularly for a first timer, but to each his own. Just because a kamado doesn't mean it cooks itself my man.

Hey Brian, welcome. Start with the easy cooks, chicken,burgers and ribs. then go to the over nighters. You will learn just like we all have.
