I have plenty of oak tree and pecan limbs. After my cook can i make oak charcoal on the BGE? It would be great to have home made charcoal from pecan or oak in my back yard.

No problem. I made some out of chicken:

Please note: “No Problem” is a joke. You do not want to do
this or make lump in an egg)))Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
You dont want to do it in the egg.

Wow, chicken lump. I wonder if it would pair well with seafood?

Gumbo, like stike says, you don't want to do it in the Egg. You will coat the inside of that Egg with creosote and probably permanently glue your daisy wheel shut with creosote. Trust me. I tried using wood chunks simply to burn and created a lot of creosote. Trying to make lump would be far worse.
