Have any of you tried Asado in the egg yet? I was thinking maybe a Dutch oven with lid off and the spider.

Asado. I'm sure the name can mean many different things depending on area. Basically red chili and pork.

Chili del Puerco. Only in the oven,But have to use Dutch ovenLET'S EAT

I've never used anything but a disc or a dutch oven, a disc is what is used the majority of the time here, but I have used the dutch oven inside. I thought the egg might give it that "EGG" touch and flavor...

I think I'm goin with you. Maybe brown the pork before ya put it in the sauce. Probly bout 350 degrees in the dutch oven on the BGE

Sorry, my PC skills are suffering, the top middle picture. You basically boil and then when the liquids cook off you add the chili, garlic, S&P, cumin, oregano, and bay leaves. I don't like the bay leaves. Simmer until tender.
Sorry, not good at recipes, I just go with it..

Some do, some don't. I like to fry it a bit after the liquids cook off but it really doesn't matter. Just like you said is my normal routine.

Think I'll give it a shot. Just trying to figure out if I need to start on a cooker and finish on the egg? If I can figure out how to post pics I'll do it.....unless it sucks, then I'll lie...lol

Everything can be done on the BGE , And with a blender
