Quick way to get temp down?

Ow tryin to make pulled pork..was playing with my son ...que got too hot can't cool down?
Any help pls,,,,!

    Close the lower vent down almost all the way and clost the daisy wheel on top almost all the way...depending on how hot you have it it should start dropping.

    There really is not way to "quickly" get it down.  Once that sucker gets hot it stays hot, which is the beauty of it.  You just messed up and the only thing to do is shut off the air and let it come down.  Opening the top occasionally to allow heat to escape is also helpful
