I sucked it up and forked over the $$$ for the official BGE cover. It works with my custom table too and again, it is official BGE....like this forum. :D
I bought 2 Veranda brand covers off Amazon. One for my gasser and the other for the egg. The one I used for the egg was for a bullet smoker and it fits beautifully. They are made from a heavy canvas feeling material and have been very durable. I was using the $7 Weber covers from Lowes, but I was buying 1 a year and figured I'd have my egg for while, so the $25 I spent on it was well worth it for me.
Just received my Veranda brand covers off Amazon. beautiful cover but it does not fit a large egg. I'm in the process of a return. Next step, weber 22.5 "premium" cover. purchased one and it worked great. mine does have the weber label on it though.
I have trouble with my large BGE cover fitting my egg with the shelves. Does anyone else have this problem? I wonder if the XL cover would work. Just wanting some advice from anyone that has had the same or similar issue. Thanks for the help!
I took the hit and bought the Egg one. It was expensive but the cheap covers I looked at weren't vented and I didn't want to have mold issues. So far so good with the Egg cover it seems to be a nice quality cover and it works well with my Egg Shelves which is a bonus.
I have a large egg table that I built that measures 63Lx29Wx32H. This is a little larger than x-large table that measures 60.5″ L x 31.5″ W x 32″ H. Do you think that the XL Cover would fit my table with these dimensions?
I got the older wood table that needs reinforcement every year. I like to cover the whole table, so I use an old atv cover and a bungee cord. Easy on, easy off, and leaving the bottom open prevents it from getting to musty.

Just put the green snuffer/rain cap on it. It'll be fine.
If you are really paranoid, use a tarp. They come in green :)
