Got a catalog from Cooking Enthusiast today, and they had a new digital thermo that had four probes, for cooking steaks for a small group that each wants theirs different.
I don't entertain, myself, but maybe someone here could use this; price is certainly right at $30.

  • cool idea but it should give temps to be more versetile,,, like for four boston butts.

    I don't like people who eat medium well or well anyway.

    I grill therefore I am.....not hungy.
  • I'm a bit skeptical.  Other than the cheap price, you really want all those wires in the cooker?  Seems like a lot of bother vs. just testing the steaks one by one with a thermopen.

    not only that whiz, but what it gives you are four steaks done at different times.

    better to get your own method 'down', and then stagger start times to end all at once.
