which do you prefer "Large butts" or "Small butts"?

I have done 11lb and 6lb butts and the meat is good regardless. Considering it is only two in my house the 6 pounders keep the leftovers fresher.
However I don't get the bark with the smaller ones Like I do with the large. I use mustard and a dry rub. Any suggestions?
I grill therefore I am.....not hungy.
