A new way of lighting my BGE

I have become more and more ecologically minded lately, so I spent a few extra bucks to install a new lighter for my BGE on my garage roof.
It works great as long as I light it during daylight hours.

How much does a setup like that set you back? ...how many kwh do you get in a day?

I have 16 PV panels that cost about $14,000 (after the 30% tax credit). I'm getting about 18-20KWh per day. My motivation to get them is more complex than just computing the payback.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

V.I. We are all green around here, just some more than others. Very nice set up, panels to eggs to garden! Good to see you posting again."Pork so tender you can pull it with a spoon." ~Spoon
