I need new tools. Especially some sort of grill brush. Anyone have a preference on what brush (brass) works best? Need a good spatula too. Thanks for the input.

Take your word for it...does look like a good system. Tired of throwing out entire brush. Thanks!

You are most welcome. I even used it to clean out the black gunk from inside the dome and remove some of the old gasket when I replaced it the last time.

4R. I really like my spatula from the Wok Shop. It has a real long handle so if you have a hot fire, it will keep the hairs from burning. I also use it, obviously, in my Chinese cooking with my wok.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

Believe it or not, I got a very sturdy stainless set at Wally world for $25! The spatula will be around forever, the long tongs will pick up a 5 lb bird without protest. I think you could pick up a whole cow with the fork. I have added a Jim Beam fish spatula/tong, and a SUPER sweet Wenger Swibo 14" Knife. My cleaning brush came in the set and has stainless bristles, with the stainless cooking grate, it should last years also.

sounds good. I will check out WW as well.
I used my Tool Wizard last night. Worked out nice.

4Runner - I use what I refer to as my "hillbilly" grill brush. I just take a piece of aluminum foil, wad it up into a ball, and use that.
It's quick, simple, CHEAP, and it works as well as, if not better than, many grill brushes.
Try it once & see...

I've used this spatula for over a decade and absolutely love it http://www.pamperedchef.com/ordering/prod_details.tpc?prodId=367&catId=180&parentCatId=180&outletSubCat=
The tongs work well too http://www.pamperedchef.com/ordering/prod_details.tpc?prodId=366&catId=180&parentCatId=180&outletSubCat=
