    My wife and I are cooking with a group of folks.  Bringing the generator, satellite dish, and TV so we won't miss any football!

    BTW, I was at the Mother Ship yesterday and they said they had about 380+ cooks registered so far.  Last year, they had around 250.

    That is great news on the # of cooks--  just registered today -- 4th year in a row!!  not cooking or camping but always happy to help.

    This will be my 1st Eggtoberfest (I just got my BGE in March) and I am really excited!
    I have one question about the RV arrangements - does anyone know if I can bring my dog to the RV site (I know that pets aren't allowed at the event but I'm trying to figure out if I need to kennel the dog or if she can just travel with me)?

    Large, medium, small and a mini. Egg'n, golfing, beer drinking, camping and following football and baseball.

    Question: never having been EggFested before, is there some information available for newbies? I.E. Camping/lodging, Do you pay to sample, are drinks available, do you bring any camping style chair or what!!!

    There isn't a whole lot of info. Bring chairs. You don't pay to sample. Just walk around enjoy yourselves, ask questions and sample food from the different cooks. There will be demostrations. Last year you could bring in your own cooler or they had a beer truck. I think you get a few tickets with your welcome package.

    I have always wanted to attend an Eggfest since I have had an egg for about 10 yrs. Live in Atlanta and only want to attend. On line says registratration closed. Can I just show up at AMS and pay 35 at the gate? No interest in cooking, just want to meet and learn from other Eggheads.

    DW 12 I don't think you can buy tickets at the gate....not sure why they dont sell them there....must be so they can plan for the amount of registered people.

    The wife and I will be there for both events.  Flying in Thursday and staying at the Fairfield Inn in McDonough.
