I bought my egg in 1993. It's 18 yrs. old. Still smoking. They were made out of clay in those days.
I bought it for $88 right off the showroom floor in Atlanta at the Big Green Egg store located at
Clairmont and Buford Hwy.
I thought that was expensive at the time. Best thing I ever bought. I need more suggestions
on a 12 lb. pork loin (whole).

    Welcome Rapid
Sounds like about right for a Mini BGE in 1993. I bought my first in 1996. Not a great deal of difference in manufacturing since then with materials. I am amazed that you need guidance on a pork loin since being a BGE'er for almost 20 years? I suggest low and slow around 225-250 till internal of 165 for loin and 195-200 for butts. Hope to see pics of your cooks.
