Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

  • I'll give you that, lol. Of course, it is not how I do business, but I realize that most newbies assume that is how it's done and end up with no photo.

  • If you are interested in better control of the ownership of your pictures (copyright), you probably shouldn't upload them to a site you can't or don't control.

  • That's an interesting point, smokeybreeze. The rules and disclaimer section really should have something to address photo rights for anything that gets uploaded. It should be clear so no one has to worry. They know in advance if it matters to them.

I wouldn't want pictures used commercially or to promote commercial interests without specific permission given.

So you guys actually read those disclaimers? :-))
If you don't want people to use your pics I'd keep them off the net completely.

The ease of posting pics is a huge advantage. There are other things I like better as well. The old community is great. The old website is really not.

It appears you can attach a file from any device attached to your computer such as a card reader or camera.

Making pics easier to post is a great improvement I don't care who you are. I also like being able to post a photo slideshow right into the post instead of a link. Very cool.

I also like the popups when people reply to your posts. Much better than having to hit refresh to see changes. It is more like a chat session than a bulletin board. Very Cool!

Definitely like the ease of posting, altho it was sort of slow uploading. (File was prolly too big.) But I liked the size of the posted photos on the old forum better. I could see them without enlarging them. Here I have to click on each separately and do the back and forth thing to see them larger. I hate the back and forth thing, which is why I much prefer flat view.

Also, can you post more than one photo in one post? I like that option as well.

How do you post a slideshow? Is that something you need to set up on your computer first?

can i copy paste from pbucket or is that a hassle, pbucket only has about 1600 pics to find stuff in, the puter has tenfold, finding stuff there is a major hassle. none of the pbucket links work
