Cherrystone Clams ?

Anyone have any good recipes for cherrystones? This new forum is different.

    This will work with clams also.  If you like toss in some cooked angel hair pasta and serve.
     Mussels ala Susan Egglaine
     
     
    INGREDIENTS:  
    2 lbs    Mussels  
    5   cloves
    Garlic, chopped
     

      Olive Oil  
    1   Onion,
    chopped
     
     

      Bunch fresh Thyme, chopped  

      Bunch fresh Parsley, chopped  

      White Wine  
    2   Tbls. Butter  
     
    PROCEDURE:
    1 Using wok in egg, sauté chopped garlic in olive oil. Add
    onion, mussels, fresh thyme, and parsley.
    2 Splash with white wine, cover.
    3 Cook until mussels open, add butter, stir.
    4 Serve with grilled garlic
    bread.

    any recipe you would use for oysters as in pop them open and eat them. if i were to cook them, grill some small chunks chourico type sausage ina pan, remove, add garlic, saute just a little, deglaze pan with white wine, add a can of stewed tomatoes, maybe a 1/4 tsp allspice, add back sausage, simmer down, add clams and cover til open. pour over a big thick slice of french bread and eat

    That's what I'm thinkin, any idea on temp. The last time I did them like this they opened up upside down and I lost all the juice.
